“Waste-to-Fuel” (Paliwa z Odpadów) is a recurring conference organised by the ABRYS publishing house, devoted to the alternative fuels market. The sixteenth edition took place on 9–11 June 2026 in Olsztyn, on Lake Ukiel; the event was co-organised by Olsztyn’s municipal waste management company, with industry patronage from the Polish Chamber of Waste Management. It brought together close to two hundred representatives of municipal installations, RDF producers, the energy and cement sectors, public administration and research institutes.
This edition’s programme comprised three sessions: the legal framework of the waste-derived fuels market in Poland and the European Union, including end-of-waste status for RDF; the organisation of RDF/SRF production – from fire safety requirements to transport and storage; and the demand side: thermal waste treatment, co-firing in district heating and the condition of the cement industry, the market’s principal offtaker. The discussions were set against a surplus of RDF over domestic processing capacity and the prospects for export.
Petroleum Ukraine. Warsaw’26 is an international conference dedicated to Ukraine’s fuel market, organised by the A-95 Consulting Group – a series held in Kyiv since 2009 and in Warsaw since 2022. The 2026 edition took place on 2 June at the Westin hotel in Warsaw, gathering more than 280 delegates from 121 companies across 21 countries; ORLEN and Ukrnafta acted as general partners.
The programme covered four blocks: the consequences of the Strait of Hormuz crisis for the European fuel market; the state of Ukraine’s market in wartime, from attacks on infrastructure to tax collection; and the priorities of recovery – rail transport, river ports and Polish investment in reconstruction. A separate session was devoted to the supply strategies of the largest players serving the Ukrainian market.

The Orlen Południe S.A. Key Clients Meeting is a closed business event hosted by a company of the ORLEN Group that describes itself as Poland’s biofuels leader and is consistently converting its plants in Trzebinia and Jedlicze into biorefineries. The talks took place on 27–29 May 2026 at the Szczawnica Park Resort & Spa hotel, in the format of a working meeting between the producer and its most important trading partners.
The discussions concerned biofuels and the terms of commercial cooperation for the 2026/27 season. The market context is set by the implementation of the RED III directive: Poland’s National Indicative Target rises to 10 percent in 2026, and the draft amendment to the biofuels act provides for a 29 percent share of renewable energy in transport by 2030, with a growing role for advanced, waste-based biocomponents. For producers and buyers of biocomponents this means planning volumes and contracts well in advance – hence the importance of direct talks about the coming season.

The Gaseous Fuels Forum is the annual meeting of Poland’s LPG sector, organised by the Polish LPG Association (POGP) and Information Market S.A. The 2026 edition took place on 22–23 April in Warsaw under the theme “The LPG market in an era of assertive trade policy”, with 19 speakers and around 150 participants from Poland and abroad.
The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Energy, the President of the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT) and the Director of the Transport Technical Supervision (TDT), with further patronage from the World Liquid Gas Association and Liquid Gas Europe. The programme covered markets in an era of assertive trade policy, Poland’s turn towards the Baltic, the regulatory environment, bioLPG, autogas and the heating sector, and the presentation of the POGP Annual Report for 2025.

The Polish Biofuels Market meeting is a recurring conference organised by Information Market S.A., publisher of the e-petrol.pl portal, as part of a fuel industry conference series held continuously since 2004. The nineteenth edition took place on 15–16 April 2026 at the Mercure Szczyrk Resort: the first day, with its opening banquet, was devoted to business networking, the second to the industry conference.
This edition’s programme focused on the shifting regulatory environment: the implemented RED II directive, the draft implementation of RED III and changes to the National Indicative Target. Further panels covered feedstock challenges – the cereal and rapeseed markets and oil-mill procurement – as well as new technologies and products, including bioLPG and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), viewed against EU energy and climate policy.
Danske Gas was actively present in the event programme – three days of conversations on security of supply, transition and trading, where the energy industry’s entire value chain comes together.
International Energy Week is the annual forum of the global energy industry, organised by the Energy Institute, the UK’s chartered professional body for the energy sector. The 2026 edition took place on 10–12 February at the QEII Centre in London, continuing the tradition of the former International Petroleum Week and bringing together industry leaders, government representatives and academia.
The theme of the 2026 edition – growth and security in an increasingly disordered energy transition – set the axis of the programme. On the agenda were: security of supply as the foundation of economic strategy, demand driven by electrification and data centres, the role of natural gas and LNG as stabilising components of the system, nuclear power, and grid resilience amid geopolitical tensions.
The Argus Oil and Future Fuels Forum is a full-day analytical forum organised by Argus Media, an international price reporting and market intelligence agency for energy and commodities. The 2026 edition took place on 10 February in London, at the Hilton Park Lane, during International Energy Week, when the global energy community gathers in the British capital. The programme is built around keynotes and panel discussions led by Argus specialists.
The 2026 agenda covered the geo-economic drivers of the oil market, global crude balances – growing supply and shifting demand – and changing trading opportunities in refined products. Dedicated sessions addressed the implementation of RED III in Europe and renewable fuels, including SAF and marine fuels, as well as the interplay of LPG, naphtha and petrochemicals in the feedstock balance.
For us, this was a forum on the future of fuels: HVO, SAF and renewable fuel balances for the decade ahead. We took part in the discussions on supply for Europe.

The Argus LPG Conference is Argus Media’s annual gathering for the region’s LPG market – the 2025 edition returned to Istanbul on 16–17 October, again bringing together traders, terminals and shipowners from the Black Sea, the Mediterranean and the Caspian.
The programme covered LPG supply balances, freight and terminal logistics, and Türkiye’s role as the bridge between seaborne supply and the region’s markets – in a year when flows through the straits took on new weight.
The Fuel Industry Meetings (Spotkania Branży Paliwowej) are a conference series organised since 2004 by Information Market S.A., publisher of e-petrol.pl; the autumn edition devoted to the LPG market is a fixture in the calendar of Poland’s fuel sector. The twenty-first meeting took place on 8–9 October 2025 at the Sheraton hotel in Sopot, gathering close to 250 representatives of Polish and international companies.
This edition’s agenda was built around three panels. The first covered the Polish LPG market and its international environment – supply and prices after the sanctions on Russian LPG imports took effect, and global product flows. The second offered a sectoral analysis, from the role of butane in the European market to the condition of the autogas segment. The third, on legal and tax matters, addressed the EU ETS2 system, changes to the SENT monitoring system and sanction rules for LPG imports. The backdrop to the discussions was the ongoing shift of supply towards seaborne imports.
Alongside the talks on logistics, imports and regulation, Danske Gas ran a motorsport zone in the conference foyer.

International Energy Week is an annual conference convened by the UK Energy Institute, described as the global energy sector’s first major gathering of the year. The 2025 edition, held from 25 to 27 February, took place for the first time at the QEII Centre in central London, drawing more than a thousand delegates – industry representatives, investors, government officials, academics and NGOs.
The 2025 programme, held under the banner “Navigating the world’s energy transitions”, centred on questions of peak fossil fuel consumption in developed and developing economies, the barriers to decarbonising hard-to-abate sectors, and how energy companies can sustain their climate commitments under short-term pressures. Three days of talks, panels and conversations on the sidelines closed with a formal dinner and the presentation of awards.

The Executive Retreat “Türkiye: Black Sea and East Med Refining and Trading” is a small-format, closed-door oil industry meeting organised by Confidence Information Services, a firm with a long record of conferences and seminars for the oil and gas sector across Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East. The 2024 edition – the third in the series and the first held in Istanbul – took place on 28–29 November at the Hyatt Regency Istanbul Ataköy, bringing together more than 130 delegates from 23 countries.
The programme centred on the refining geography of the Black Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean and on the realignment of oil product trade brought about by 2024: the redirection of trade flows, the restructuring of LPG pricing across the Polish, Russian, Central Asian and Turkish markets, and terminal logistics. Analyses were presented by experts from Energy Intelligence and Kpler alongside representatives of SOCAR Türkiye, and the agenda concluded with a technical visit to the Aygaz terminal in Ambarlı.

Spotkania Branży Paliwowej – Polski Rynek LPG (the Polish LPG Market meeting) is a conference series organised by Information Market S.A., publisher of e-petrol.pl, which for more than two decades has remained the principal discussion forum for the LPG industry in Poland and Central Europe. The twentieth edition took place on 23–24 October 2024 at the Warszawianka hotel in Jachranka near Warsaw, drawing close to 300 participants from some 150 companies – a record attendance in the history of the series.
The 2024 edition came at a turning point for the market: the EU embargo on Russian LPG imports was to take effect that December. The panels covered the condition of the cylinder and bulk segments from the perspective of manufacturers and technical supervision authorities, the impact of sanctions on supply routes and prices – including the growing role of imports from Western and Southern Europe and of rail transport – and the regulatory environment, from the ETS2 scheme to EU decarbonisation rules.

The 2024 edition gathered traders, producers and logistics providers in Bishkek on 9–10 October.
