The energy market in full cross-section – and responsibility with an address.
We work across an energy market spanning many energy products – from electricity and natural gas to LPG and diesel. Trading, logistics, financing and risk management operate as one process, so decisions taken in one area have legible consequences in the others – and a legible author.
A real area, a real result
Every role runs a concrete part of a multi-energy operator’s business – a product, a market or a process – with decision-making authority and a direct link between the work and that area’s result.
The framework we work within
URE licences, independently audited accounts, bank financing and formalised risk management. This is the framework within which the company operates and in which you take decisions.
People from major energy groups
The core of our team comes from leading energy and fuel corporations. We know why people move to us: for room to act that a large structure cannot give. We grant a great deal of freedom; independence is the other side of it. If structure, procedures or an earnings ceiling are what limits you today – here, the limit is set by the result.
Collaboration across functions
Trading talks to logistics, finance and risk at one table. A short information path means decisions are taken close to the market – and their quality is a shared responsibility, not a turf dispute.
Art in the workspace
Our offices display works from the company collection – contemporary painting, rotated every few months. It is part of the organisational culture: the workspace should support focus, conversation and a wider view.

We attract the best people with pay, too.
Packages are set to be attractive against comparable market roles.
A stable base
The core of the package is a stable base salary reflecting experience, competences and scope of responsibility.
A high fixed component and an uncapped variable component
No upper cap: the variable component grows with the result, not with a pay grade – linked to the scope of responsibility and the quality of risk management. A high fixed component supports long-term, responsible decision-making; the variable component lets you participate fully in the results generated in your area. Alongside the financial result, portfolio quality counts – including clients' payment reliability – and the standard of risk management.
A package we take seriously.
We want working at Danske Gas to be a good choice by the standards of the Polish energy sector. The package is built to keep pace with people who take responsibility for results.
Culture accompanies us beyond the office: we are regulars at La Scala, the Salle Garnier and Warsaw’s Grand Theatre; the rhythm of our year is set by the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Art Basel and the Venice Biennale.
Development without a rigid cap.
We do not apply a rigid annual cap on professional-development spending. We fund training, conferences, certifications and access to specialist knowledge where they support the competences a role requires and the business of a multi-energy operator. The criterion is the investment's link to the role, not a figure in a table.
- Industry training and conferences in Poland and abroad.
- Certifications and professional examinations.
- Commercial and managerial skills development.
- Risk management, finance and logistics.
- Specialist analyses and publications.
- Access to professional market-data sources.
How we work.
Procedures here are a tool, not a goal: they are there to speed decisions up, not to replace them. Responsibility for a decision includes the way it was taken.
- Decisions are taken where the knowledge is, and documented when material.
- The quality of information as a condition of the quality of decisions.
- Trading, logistics, finance and risk working together in the daily rhythm.
- Risk management to a shared standard.
- Professionalism with partners and colleagues.
- The result counts together with how it was achieved.
Two stages. To the point.
Introductory conversation
We talk about experience, motivation and expectations, the basic terms of the role and the fit of the professional area.
Substantive conversation and decision
A meeting with the person responsible for the area: concrete professional situations, the way you take decisions, accountability and the risk management proper to the role, and the terms of cooperation. If a task or case study is needed, it takes place within this stage.
Can I apply if there is no suitable opening at the moment?
Yes. We accept spontaneous applications indicating a professional area – describe your experience and the area you want to work in, and we will come back to you when a matching need appears.
What does the recruitment process look like?
The process has exactly two stages: an introductory conversation and a substantive conversation with the person responsible for the area, ending with a decision. Any task or case study takes place within the second stage.
Is there a variable component in commercial roles?
Yes. Commercial roles carry a high fixed component and an uncapped variable component linked to the result, the scope of responsibility and the quality of risk management. In administrative and specialist roles the core of the package is a stable base salary.
How are training and conferences funded?
We do not apply a rigid annual cap. We fund training, conferences and certifications where they support the competences a role requires and the business of a multi-energy operator – the criterion is the role, not the amount.
In what language is recruitment conducted?
We agree the language of the conversations according to the role and the participants; details are confirmed with the invitation.
Are applications treated confidentially?
Applications are processed in line with our Privacy policy, and access is limited to the people involved in the recruitment process.
