A measured role in the transition.

As a multi-energy operator we are shifting our portfolio towards lower-carbon carriers and decarbonising our own operations – in a measurable and lasting way. Documents instead of declarations.

01 · Strategy

Four pillars. One measure: the document.

Pillar I

Lower-carbon portfolio

B100, biocomponents, HVO100 and wood pellets – certified under the KZR INiG scheme, with a documented chain of custody.

Pillar II

Renewable power

Electricity sold as 100% renewable – solely on the basis of guarantees of origin.

Pillar III

Operational decarbonisation

We are building our Scope 1 and 2 emissions baseline as the foundation for a formal operational net-zero target.

Pillar IV

Responsible chain

Counterparties are checked in the registers and against EU sanctions lists.

02 · Transition plan

A timeline – from certification to target.

We build the transition plan from documents, not slogans: first certification and independent attestation, then a full emissions baseline, and only on that basis – a formal, measurable target.

We distinguish ambitions from achievements – every step has its document.

2023

KZR INiG certification

Certificate 2050/7999/DD/23 for the biofuels and biomass chain – a scheme recognised by the European Commission, RED-compliant.

2025

Independent Bureau Veritas attestation

Attestation no. BVC/KZR/134/25 for the KZR INiG scheme.

2026

100% renewable power and CO2 allowances in the portfolio

Electricity sold solely with guarantees of origin; emission allowances traded within the product portfolio.

2026–2027

Full Scope 1 and 2 emissions baseline

An inventory of our own operations' emissions – the foundation for an operational net-zero target.

03 · Data & verification

Documents, not declarations.

04 · Regulatory context

Where we stand on the regulatory map.

CSRD/ESRS

Below the obligation threshold

After the Omnibus package, mandatory CSRD reporting covers companies above 1,000 employees and EUR 450m turnover. Danske Gas reports voluntarily – rigorously and in proportion to its scale.

RED/KZR INiG

A certified biofuels chain

The KZR INiG scheme is recognised by the European Commission. Our biofuels and biomass carry a documented chain of custody within it.

GHG Protocol · GO

Power backed by guarantees of origin

We base the “100% renewable” label solely on cancelled guarantees of origin, in line with the market-based Scope 2 method.
