A blue Subaru bearing the Danske Gas logo at the 63rd Barbórka Rally

For more than sixty years, Warsaw has brought the rally season to a close with Barbórka. Its finale – Kryterium Asów on Karowa Street – is watched from the Vistula escarpment by crowds willing to stand for hours in the freezing December cold.

The sixty-third edition returned to the classic format: two full loops, two service stops, stages north of the city – Tor Modlin with its famous jump and a new stage at Twierdza Modlin, within the historic military complex – followed by Karowa in the evening.

Danske Gas sponsors the Barbórka Rally. At this edition, our logo rode on the blue Subaru Impreza of crew number 51. The photographs show one day of the team’s work: morning service under the tent, stages in Modlin and night-time runs in the headlights.

A December rally tests preparation, not power. Wet tarmac, temperatures around zero and daylight that disappears at 16:00 leave no room for improvisation. The winner has everything ready before the light turns green – car, servicing, people. We value the same in energy.
