Seaborne LPG delivery to Gdynia. Danske Gas increases the share of maritime imports
In early March 2026, a seaborne delivery of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carried out by Danske Gas arrived at the LPG terminal in Gdynia. The company is steadily developing its direct-import model and increasing the share of maritime transport in its purchasing structure.

Danske Gas S.A. has completed a delivery of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by sea to the handling terminal in Gdynia. The delivery forms part of the company’s direct-import model, in which maritime transport plays an increasingly important role.
The share of maritime transport in the company’s purchasing structure is growing steadily. Deliveries by sea provide greater operational flexibility and strengthen security of supply on the domestic LPG market.
In Danske Gas’s assessment, recent regulatory changes in the LPG segment create more predictable conditions for the development of long-term trading relationships and for further diversification of supply routes.
Seaborne imports are one of the pillars of the company’s business. Danske Gas imports liquid fuels and gas through Polish ports under licences granted by URE (the Energy Regulatory Office, Poland’s energy regulator), including a licence for foreign trade in liquid fuels, and supplies them to wholesale customers in Poland.
