Entrepreneur and investor. He has spent most of his working life between Denmark, Switzerland, the Middle East and Asia. He is the founder of Danske Gas, a multi-energy operator that imports LPG, LNG, diesel and biofuels, and trades in electricity. The people who started earlier ventures with him are still with him today – only in larger roles. Through his family holding company, he also invests in energy, infrastructure, financial institutions and property, in Europe and beyond. He sponsors the principal energy summits and conferences from Europe to the Middle East and Africa.

A lawyer by training, he holds an MBA and is taking part in the Advanced Management Program.

Away from business, the sea is closest to his heart: long voyages, technical diving in distant waters, expeditions from the tropics to waters beyond the Arctic Circle. A collector of post-war Polish painting and of rare writing instruments. He supports the Montserrat Abbey choir, museums and opera. He is a theatre producer and writes prose.

He intends to devote a substantial part of what he is building to social causes.

Responsible for the company’s corporate governance: corporate documentation and the Management Board Office, legal affairs, compliance, and relations with institutions and registers. Her remit also covers communications, personnel matters and data protection.

Responsible for the company’s controlling and financial planning: budgeting, management reporting and cost control. His remit also covers accounting, financial reporting and tax.
